Laura Lungu
CEO & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Laura Lungu is an artist, visionary, and leader whose life has been shaped by music and the power of live performance. A classically trained violinist from childhood, she graduated from the prestigious “George Enescu” National Music College in Bucharest before earning her Master of Arts in Musicology and Performing Arts from the University of Bologna, Italy. Her parallel studies in Cybernetics and Planning at the Economics Academy in Bucharest reflect a rare combination of artistic refinement and strategic acumen.
As a violinist, Laura performed with some of the world’s greatest artists — Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras, Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli — experiences that honed her excellence in the art of transmitting emotion to audiences, mastering the delicate craft of touching hearts while upholding the highest standards of performance. This fusion of artistic impact and organisational precision set the stage for her transition from performer to creative leader, producing events and productions that evoke the same depth of feeling she once brought to the stage.
Her international career reached new heights as Vice President Associate of the Artistic & Creative Department at Dragone Entertainment Group in Belgium, where she was Franco Dragone’s close collaborator on monumental multi-million-dollar productions including The House of Dancing Water, Macau, the restyling of Le Rêve, Las Vegas, the Crown Macau Resort opening, and cultural installations such as the Musée de la Civilisation in Quebec.
She also founded and managed the Concertissimo Orchestra, producing more than 300 movie soundtracks as musician, music supervisor, and producer.
Today, Laura is the CEO & Creative Director of Concertissimo Events, a company with offices in Rome, Bucharest, Berlin, and Dubai. Through Concertissimo, she has created, directed, and delivered landmark events that unite storytelling, cultural sophistication, and immersive design — from intimate luxury galas to large scale spectacular productions.
Laura is a polyglot with a versatile personality and a wide range of interests. She is driven by a constant quest for knowledge, enjoys cultural travel, and has a deep passion for art in all its forms, especially opera.
Passionate about the transformative power of music and art, Laura sees every event as a living work of art, a space where beauty, meaning, and human connection meet. With grace, vision, and meticulous craftsmanship, she designs experiences that resonate long after the final note has been played and the curtain has fallen.
