Laura Lungu has studied music since childhood, graduating in music with violin specialization. With her talent and passion in both the artistic field as well as in economics, she continued her studies with Cybernetics and Planning at the Economics Academy in Bucharest. She graduated with honors in Musicology and Performing Arts at Bologna University, followed by a Masters degree in Musical Theatre Direction.
Taking advantage of her specific studies, she succeeded in developing an international career as a violinist working with artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras, Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli and many others. She went on to become a well respected manager in the entertainment industry. She has taken the lead role positions of Artistic Director, Project Leader, Creative Director, Music Producer, Artists Manager, as well as Production Manager for shows, concerts, music recordings, festivals, corporate and private events with high visibility in Italy and abroad.
Working on global scale shows and events she was the Vice President Associate to the Artistic and Creative Department of the Franco Dragone Entertainment Group in Belgium, working actively on some of the largest shows in the world such as “The House of Dancing Water” in Macau, “Le Rêve” in Las Vegas, Crown Macao resort opening in Cina, Musée de la Civilisation in Quebec as well as many of other shows and high profile corporate events.
As founder and General Manager of Concertissimo Entertainment since 1998, she also is the founder and Artistic Director of the Concertissimo Orchestra, which she established in 2007 both in Rome and Bucharest with more than 200 movie soundtracks recorded to date as producer, musician and music supervisor:
