Director of Engineering

As an experienced Sound Engineer, he is the associate of three structures operating in the world of Music and Performing Arts:

  • MediaPro Recording Studio: recording studio and scoring stage, based in Bucharest, specializing in movie soundtrack recording. The studio has one of the largest scoring stages in the world with perfect acoustics.

  • Millenium Audio Recording – studio for audio production and post-production, Rome.
  • Sounding Studio –  audio production studio, specializing in recording with symphonical orchestra and big musical ensembles, Rome

With 25 years of experience as a Sound Engineer, Fabio has collaborated in the production of numerous CD recordings, DVDs, recordings made for television and radio broadcast including featured artists and orchestras such as Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Montserrat Caballe ‘ , Ennio Morricone, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Maggio Fiorentino, Toscanini Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of the Academy Santa Cecilia in Rome, Orchestra of the Sanremo Festival, Orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Orchestra Concertissimo, Nova Amadeus, The Regional Orchestra of Lazio, Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Teatro Bellini in Catania, Boris Brott, Paolo Olmi, Cecilia Gasdia, Eva Marton, Francesca Patane ‘, I Solisti Veneti, Jose’ Carreras, Jose ‘Care, Katia Ricciarelli Luciano Giuliani, Sandro Verzari, Madelyn Renee Monti, Maria Dragoni, Sergio Calligaris, Silvia Cappellini Sinopoli, Renato Bruson, Tamas Pal, Pablo Colino, Bernini Quartet, Trio Concentus, Peppe Vessicchio, Pino Perris, Emma, Claudio Baglioni, Franco Piersanti, Blanche Dubois, Edoardo De Angelis, Luca Barbarossa, Christian De Sica, Luis Bacalov, Enrico Pierannunzi, Massimo nuncios, Benedetto Ghiglia, Riccardo Fassi, Mike Applebaum, Michael Ascolese, Hellas Bandini, Derek Wilson, Claudio Cimpanelli, Massimo Moriconi and many others.

Fabio has also made recordings and audio mixes  for more than 100 soundtracks for TV and cinema movies and has also developed the CD recording of their soundtracks, with composers such as: Oscar prize Ennio Morricone, Franco Piersanti, Paolo Vivaldi, Stefano Reali, Manuel De Sica, Luis Bacalov, Henri Pierannunzi, Massimo Nuncios, Benedetto Ghiglia, Riccardo Giagni, Paolo Buonvino, Fabrizio Bondi, Emanuele Bossi, Francesco De Luca, Alessandro Forti, Stefano Mainetti, Gianfranco Salvatore, Danilo Cherni and numerous others.

Over the past two years he has collaborated with RAI and the Microcinema network for live show broadcasting in world vision from Taormina Ancient Greek Theater as well ass the recording of Opera “Nabucco” by G. Verdi and “Norma” by V. Bellini.

In partnership with Laura Lungu, he founded the Romanian department of Concertissimo audio recordings – Bucharest Recording Group and manages Digital Village, an important audio service company, specialized in Audio Broadcasting and Location Recording for Classic and Opera music.

 For many years now he has been a valued Concertissimo’s associate and their Director of Engineering.

He is dedicated to music, enjoys cutting edge technology and the papanashi (typical Romanian dessert), but not necessarily in this order.
